Same deal as the CC29 with an extra inch of reach. The 1" marks keep your lengths honest, the fine end handles detail and the coarse end handles sectioning and comb-outs.
The longer body gives you more surface for scissor-over-comb and tapering. It's heat resistant too, so the blow dryer won't bend it.
